Simwinga James (MSc. Project Management, BA. Development Studies, Dip in Agriculture) has more than 25 years of work experience, worked in government, non-governmental organisation,mining company, and University as Strategic management & Project Management lecturer. Some of the competences accrued are:project management, capacity building, partnerships, advocacy, planning monitoring and evaluation, most aspects of agriculture  – climate smart agriculture/conservation farming, conducting research,Disaster risk mitigation & management, Strategic planning, Mainstreaming Gender and HIV/AIDS, Natural Resources Management &Utilization, and management of project funds. Some accomplishments, participated in the development of a partnership manual, conducted academic research, a case study on the impact of fertilizer support programme, and management of project stakeholders in resettlement projects, a case study in the mining industry, and worked with the livelihoods consultancy team on Zambia Mining and Environment and Remediation Improvement Project (ZEMRIP), World Bank funded project.
